Extra Credit Field Trip!

Art Spiegelman Lecture:  April 28th

Our field trip slots are almost full.  If you are signed up and don't know if you will be able to attend, please let me know because we have other students interested in attending!  

On April 28th, we will meet at the MAX station, hop the MAX, head downtown, walk up to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, listen to the lecture, and then return by MAX.   You will be able to earn extra credit in both your English class and your Social Studies class by attending the lecture and giving us some thoughts on the experience.

Spring Break in a week

We have lots going on this week:
*  Progress Reports will be sent home
*  Wednesday evening we will be heading out on our field trip to see Twelfth Night
*  School will be closed Monday afternoon for a staff meeting
*  Meet with your mentors this week so you know what to work on over spring break if you have catching up to do.
*  Spring break is next week!   

Grades come out next week!

Yes, this is the last week to turn in assignments for the first six weeks of the semester.  Remember that any assignment not turned in from this first six weeks will be added to your grade as a zero, which will negatively impact your grade.  Get those assignments turned in! 

FIELD TRIP!!!

Twelfth Night is on!  We will be going to see James Navlyt in his first Shakespearean performance on Wednesday, March 16th, at 7pm.  Check out the Black Swan Youth Theatre for more information, and if you are interested in going, let me know by Friday, March 11th - you will get extra credit for your English class.  The cost will be $5.00, a gas donation to our drivers, and you will need to have a parent fill out a permission form.  Let me know ASAP if you want to go.
